Everyone settle down and get a grip

Everyone settle down and get a grip

Report from the August, 2007 Ride:

I was the first person on this last ride to get arrested, well that is unless someone actually was arrested at Daley Center. Anyway, there has been two comments left by people that I suspect work for the city or are relatives of someone who does. This ride never has run stop lights in the same fashion that a funeral never runs lights. The front of the line stops at all lights and everyone else proceeds as they are part of the group. This is the way it always has been and the way it always should be. We always let emergency vehicles in, so what is the problem? Towards the beginning of the ride I rode up to the front and was told in this moment the following:

He told me "You can pick any route you want but, you can't go East of Michigan." Well, I took the lead and I respected his wishes until he changed his mind and decided that we also can't go North on State from Roosevelt and then again at Wabash. Well at Wabash I was already in the middle of my turn when I recognized his decision. I was then run into a row of parked cars and told that if I didn't turn around that I would be arrested. I said that it didn't make any sense as I complied with his wishes when he said that we could do anything that we want but, we have to stay East of Michigan. He said that the rules change and that I have to do whatever a police officer tells me to do. This is entirely unconstitutional and if you think otherwise you are just another lemming waiting for Big Brother to make all your dreams come true. I am looking for any additional footage to what has already been posted here. If you have any, please contact me at Criscoluv@hotmail.com. Keep in mind the Nazis taught complacency too. Question authority or forever be a fool under their rule.
